Looking back on last term in school

It is hard to believe but we are just starting our last term in Fifth Class! 
Looking back, we had a very busy term between Christmas and Easter.

We planted flowers and vegetables, we started French lessons in class (and did really cool projects on different aspects of France), we visited the library several times, we started GAA lessons with Laura, we took part in a Seachtain na Gaeilge table quiz, we did shared reading with Ms Sherlock's class, we took infants on a tour of Cavan Town, we visited Brú na Bóinne and we celebrated Pancake Tuesday, Valentine's Day, World Book Day, Lá Glas and St Patrick's Day.

 Mr Walsh and some of his Sixth Class were away in Breffni Park playing rounders. We gave a great account of ourselves winning our first match and narrowly losing our second match. It was a brilliant day, we had great fun and we learned a lot about the game, as we played it.
